Thoughts on streamlining your Flash project processes

I’ve long thought that I need to get some things together to help streamline my processes while working on various projects. Things like a personal code repository or maybe an assets repository that I could break down by client or something. For example, let’s say client X has some buttons that always get used in different projects and that sometimes those buttons look the exact same and sometimes they are the same style, but a different color. Well, I could have those buttons created in one color and then copy/paste them into the new project and modify the color accordingly.

Now, those couple of repository ideas are pretty obvious when you’re talking about streamlining. I’m about to do some serious brainstorming to try to come up with some more ideas and thought I’d see if maybe I could pull a few extra from the Flash community out there.
