MySpace. I just couldn’t stay away.

I’ve fought it for a long time, but with the recent work we did on a Hyundai community site, I just couldn’t hold out any longer. I always said I’d never create a MySpace account simply because everyone else under the sun has one, but I broke down tonight and did it just to see what it’s all about. I’m fairly sure I won’t be dressing my page up in any way (we’ll see how long I can actually hold out on that), but here’s the link if you’re interested in finding me there.

Oh, why do I feel like I’ve betrayed myself in some strange way?

Have you checked out Virb? [http://www.virb.com/]

It’s like MySpace but without all the crappy design. The drawback right now is that MySpace has a million people on there and Virb is brand new. I was really impressed with it though- some nice Flash elements as well.

Thanks Joseph. I’ll check it out as soon as I get a chance. I gotta tell ya though, I already feel like I’ve gone against some strange personal core value which I don’t fully understand by joining MySpace so I may not immediately jump right into Virb.

I used to not like myspace too coz for the same reason everybody has it. But then I got tempted in joining. Used to feel awful too but now that feeling is really gone. I had fun doing and customizing pages for some friends. It’s fun and I get money from my works. Glad you joined although you feel not so good about having it. :)
